Abstract

This study examines whether the Bay' Jizaf transactions at Pasar Inpres Lhokseumawe are or are not under the law and the provisions of Bay' Jizaf in Islamic Economics. This qualitative study obtains the data through literature, observation, documentation, and interviews. The object used is 20 Bay' Jizaf traders. Meanwhile, the subjects or informants in this study are 20 traders who sell Jizaf at Pasar Inpres in Lhokseumawe City. The research method used is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach, while the type of research used is field research (field research). Based on the results, in general, traders who sell Jizaf at Pasar Inpres Lhokseumawe City are following the law and the provisions of Bay' Jizaf in Islamic Economics although there is a slight difference between the requirements and direct practice in the field.
